My name is Dave "Rock" Cowles. I am a graphic artist, specializing in 3D
caricatures, Flash animation, web site design, custom logos, and
t-shirt and business card design.
My caricatures have
been seen in books, on television, billboards, magazines, business
cards, ads, flyers, and t-shirts. I have yet to break into
radio!
I do my best to
create a fun likeness while trying to find a balance between
mercy, humor, and accuracy. In case you're just visiting us here
on Planet Earth, weight loss, make-up, and plastic surgery are
multi-billion dollar annual industries. People work hard at not
looking like themselves and sometimes don't always appreciate
having a caricaturist point out exactly what he or she thinks
makes that person look more like their self than anyone else does!
I do not, at
present, do live caricatures, parties, or events. I have chosen
instead to focus on doing 3D caricatures in the relative safety of
my studio somewhere in South Carolina.
I am happily
married to the woman of everybody's dreams, Marecho.
She is my better third.
My wonderful daughter, Raeny,
is my greatest teacher. She is thirteen going on seventeen,

We live with two
dogs, Crazyhead Murphy and Mollie the Weasel. They like having us around.
